HJC News: Parshas Korach / Rosh Chodesh

Mazel Tov to David and Devorah Goldblatt on the birth of a girl, Ilana Bracha.  Mazel Tov to the grandparents Rabbi Yehuda and Channa Appel and great-grandparents Harold and Feiga Males.

Mazel Tov to Isaac and Tamara Davidovich and Rabbi Marc and Eve Messing on the birth of a granddaughter, Chana Davidovich.

Kiddush this Shabbos is sponsored by Yisroel and Sherrie Mendenhall in memory of Sherrie’s mother.

The Shul’s Beis Medrash Program is starting this Sunday June 13. Right after Shacharis, we will learn an Aliyah (or two) of Chumash and Rashi.  And at 8:20pm, that’s thirty minutes before Mincha, we will begin our Chevra Mishnayos with the First Chapter of Masechta Brochos.  I highly recommend using the following edition of Mishnayos, which will greatly facilitate the learning and help in the acquisition of learning skills:  It is well worth the investment.

The Shul is hosting a Father’s Day BBQ next Sunday June 20th from noon to 3pm.  Please call or contact the office to let us know you’re coming! We would love to see you there.

This week’s Torah Column in the Cleveland Jewish News can be accessed here:  This is my last week writing the column.

Rosh Chodesh Tammuz is this Shabbos and Sunday.

Good Shabbos and a Gutten Chodesh.
